The Laa Columb Killey festival that has been celebrated in Arbory for more than 100 years. Held on the Thursday nearest the anniversary of the date St Columba died. The festival is a fantastic occasion for all the family to enjoy with exhibitions, sports, attractions, arts and crafts, competitions for everyone to get involved with and fantastic refreshments in the Tea Tent!
Entry to the festival is £2 which includes a copy of the programme. Admission to the Tea Tent is £5 for adults and £2 for children, and Tea Tent tickets can be purchased at the entrance gate.
Events on the field begin at 2:45 with sports from 4pm, the auction at 7pm and the Tarroo Marro Ceili Band to 9pm. ‘Off field’ events include the Sunday Service at Arbory Parish Church, Judging of the children’s fancy dress competition and the LCK golf competition between residents of Arbory and Colby at Rowany Golf Club.
